The artist Milo Moiré opened with her performance “Ceci n’est pas une femme nue” the new Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rijeka, Croatia. Milo Moiré’s performative work was exhibited together with the retrospective of the Croatian performance icon Tomislav Gotovac. Accompanied by hundreds of museum visitors, the artist walked for 30 minutes from the old museum across the city center to the new building. She wore VR glasses with which she streamed her performance live on Facebook. The users could follow her performance through her „virtual eyes“. The sentence “Ceci n’est pas une femme nue” was written on the back and chest of her naked body. On her butt and pubic area was written a binary code for the word “Digitized“.
